Mom’s test results

Mom was at the radiologist today, and also got her staples removed. The tumor is called Glioblastoma (a very aggressive type of tumor that starts in the brain) Without any treatment the tumor could grow back 1 week to three months. With treatment it will still mostly likely grow back within a year.

Mom will be taking radiation, starting in two weeks, and then chemo pills. On Monday we meet with the oncologist.

This is very difficult for all of us. Thank-you for caring and praying!

Words do not describe what our hearts feel right now. Sorrow. ……at this last email, doesnt come close to describing it. We continue to lift you ALL in our prayers daily. As you read this, I hope you can feel a warm, strong, hug around each of you. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

  8. All day I keep thinking of your family, and the news you got… Then I think of one of my favorite quotes… “Some times all God asks of His children is silence, patience, and tears.”
Know there are many of us out here, friends and strangers alike, who are praying and crying with you through this long dark night.

  9. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Why are you downcast O my soul? Why so disturbed within me ? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Psa. 42:2, 5-6 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed: perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned, struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Cor. 4: 8-9

  10. Tonight this song brought tears to my eyes as I thought of your family. In church we sang… ‘When peace like a river attendeth my soul, when sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot Thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul…”
I keep thinking of your family, and am praying that You will be able to trust and cling to Him now more than ever before! He has promised to never leave you or forsake you.
